Tessa and Mom:)

Thursday, January 31, 2008

So being the "photographer" usually means your behind the camera...very rarely in front of it. So here's the great "high schooler" photography technique. Mom holding the camera, catching a great self portrait. Tessa wide awake at 11 PM. I should be packing for the weekend...the kids are excited that we're off to the hotel for the weekend. We're attending Iowa Farm Bureau's Young Farmer event. So other little kids will be there. It'll be fun hanging out with some of our long distant friends! Have a great weekend. Hopefully we survive ours!

One Tooth, Two Tooth, Three Tooth, Four...

Wednesday, January 30, 2008

Madison lost her first TWO teeth this past week. On Sunday with a little help from pulling her first tooth with a string. And then Monday, Madison pulled her second tooth out on her own! She was very excited to see the tooth fairy had visited her BOTH nights.

Madison's Kindergarten Christmas Party didn't happen until after returning from break, due to school cancelled because of fog. So Tessa made the trip and went to the party with me. Madison sat in a chair in front of the class, held Tessa and introduced her new baby sister!
The girls waiting to open their presents....

All of the goodies everyone received!

Happy 3rd Birthday Clay!

Sunday, January 20, 2008

Today was Clayton's 3rd Birthday! Daddy wasn't very nice...he decided to put trick candles on his childs birthday cake. Check out the smoke RyLee and Papa are inhaling! Nothing like a toddlers birthday cake with spit all over it.....

Our 3rd birthday cake was a RED tractor and wagon...if you look really close, you'll see this cake was attacked by the birthday boy yesterday. He was busy trying to de-tire his machines, along with some unseen finger marks in the white stuff.

Fun opening presents!

Fun to think back three years ago. My epideral was wearing off and I was still in disbelief we had a boy. Happy Birthday Buddy!

Sweet Pea Tessa

Here's an updated picture of Tessa I did last week. With her ADORABLE blankie her Aunt Ashley made:) (kits available at Willow Creek in Kalona)She was a whopping 8 lbs 8 oz at her 3 week doctors appointment on Friday...unfortunatly everyone is fighting off

There is NO shortage of babysitters around the Fishback household. Everyone seems to know how to cater to Baby Tessa...RyLee says "Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star" is her favorite song. So I couldn't resist snapping this one of RyLee soothing Tess.
